This is my first attempt at a Legacy, the Foobar Legacy!

Generation 1
Chapter 1: Meet the Founder!
Chapter 2: The Foobar Legacy continues, with a wedding, baby bumps and an appearance by my Sim Self!
Chapter 3: Generation 2 grows up, the founders grow old, and plumbbobs go platinum.
Chapter 4: College, cats and coconuts...
Chapter 5: Generation 2's college days continue, complete with serial dating, feuding mascots and...togas!

Chapter 6: Rolf's homecoming, plus weddings, lots of babies and...death!
Chapter 7: Birthdays, death, stalkers...business as usual! NEW!

I think it's F.U.B.A.R. just BTW, (effed up beyond all recognition, learned that from saving private ryan lol) but aaaaaaaanyway, I like it, it's pretty funny.

Hello there Kat, good to see your legacy attempt.

I really like your founder, not the usual face#1, not super ugly, but a nice interesting face, did you make him in BodyShop?

He seems like a nice kind of guy, perhaps a bit over-cautious, he is certainly the first sim I ever saw putting on a hard hat before trimming a tree.
Mind you, he could do with being a bit more careful with the hygiene side of things:

First of all, I'd like to say: WOAH. How'd you get the purple font color and the big orange text at the end?! That looks really cool; I've never seen anyone have that in their story before.

I really like your legacy. You have great commentary; it's not overly (or cheesily funny), but still funny enough to keep me on my toes.

Marf has a cool personality, and he's very unique looking - in a good way. I think his genes combined with Marisa's will be a very interesting mix!

Oh, and I also like the founder's name. Marf Foobar? That's a pretty spiffy name, if you ask me.

Noticed it yesterday but didn't have time to comment till now.

So many good laughs in this chapter, this one was my favorite:

"I heard from the cousin of a boy whose sister sits behind another girl who sits next to your brother in art class that you're planning to take over the world. . . that's awesome!"

"You think so?"

"Uh huh! If you succeed, can I have Egypt?"

The boys grew up wonderfully interesting looking, I mean it, I really like their genetics.

The little talk Marf and Marisa had while relaxing on the bed was very funny too, it's too long to quote but it was great. I really had expected a baby surprise.

Rolf and Newt's love lives are already very entertaining. It was hilarious when Britteny snuck by to drop off that piano for Rolf and then promptly heartfarted Newt.

Great stuff Kat, I look forward to more. Keep at it.

New Chapter Time, folks!

Good to see a new chapter.

Excellent beginning, imaging waking up to "Do you see banana man,
hopping over on de white hot sand..." and a huge big bonfire in your garden.

Good idea to send Marf and Marisa on a holiday after the boys went to University, they've deserved it.

Love the picture of Marisa sunbathing and Marf in the background getting bitten by a crab. Oh I can't wait to get BV myself; perhaps I'll get lucky this Christmas.

Looks like the boys are getting on great at Uni:

I don't know what the Academie puts in the local water supply, but there was a small crowd of girls surrounding Newt for hours. . .

"Face it, Author. No one can resist the sheer animal magnetism of 'The Newt'."

:p Magnetism, riiiiggghhhtt.

I know I've said it before but I really like the interesting looks Rolf and Newt have, it is so refreshing to see some different looks about the place. Face one is pretty enough but there are just too darn many of them.

I feel sorry for Marf and his worries, I really hope they can get sorted out. Surely the holiday must have helped a bit.

Butterflies. The second after Marf greeted him, the old Shaman trotted into the garden and started hunting the cloud of butterflies that gathers there every single Sim day...he didn't catch any, though.

*head tilts* Marf? I love it! XD Such a crazy random name!! He has a great founding personality, too - and I love how you took on the Living Very Large handicap! Not that many people do that one, which I think is a real shame. I also find it highly amusing that you know how to say "man *censored*" in French. And I must say that Marf's double chin reminds me strongly of my uncle. *head tilts, considers* Yup, looks just like my uncle's. Now I've got all emotional and feel attached to the little guy. He even has the same standards of hygiene that my uncle does!

I totally love the size of their little love-shack, by the way. That is classical legacy living right there! It has its own... adorable aura, you know? Though, if my mate was painting pictures of sexy anime-woohoo kittens while I'm trying to focus on giving birth... well, I'd have a lot to say about that! Also, this picture? Priceless. I also love how the house doubled in size overnight, thanks to Marsha's contributions. XD

I have to say, the boys really have some... unique facial features there. Reminds me a glacier for some reason - all eroded and pointy and stuff. Marsha seems to do that to families, I've noticed... >_>

The Next Day. . .

"You're sure you made the reservations, Marisa?"
"Yes, dear."
"And you brought enough money?"
"Yes."
"And these shorts don't make my butt look big?"
"Just get in the cab, Marf."

Deciding it was time for a break from the daily grind, Marf and Marisa were shuttled off to the world--er, Sim-world famous Twikkii Beach hotel for a little R&R. . .

"Honey, where did our suitcases go?"
"Didn't you get them out of the taxi?"
". . . .oops."

. . .and promptly lost their luggage.

*dies of enjoyment* I really love how insightful and thoughtful Marf has become in his old age, too. Its so sweet!

Mumumu, I love the way you've written everything Kat dear. Keep up the great work and have fun while you do it, kay?

I love this legacy! The personalities are perfect, your writing is entertaining and has just enough plot to keep the story moving, but not so much plot I get bogged down in the beginning. It might be my computer, but some of the pictures are exceptionally dark, so I appreciate the exposition for each slide, too.

That picture of Brittany Parker on a date with Newt in Ch.4 is really funny-- she looks like she matches his evil plans, the way the lighting fell.
