Yay! mountainshade1 has approved the abuse of her SimSelf! I couldn't help myself, I am not always in control of my own actions...occasionally little garden gnomes possess my body and make me do evil things to SimSelves...fear the garden gnomes...fear them...
A bit more 'lolcat' than my usual fare, but this was a lot of fun to play and write! So what the hey?

I am lost for words... I cannot begin to describe the surprise!! I saw your PM and just about fell out of the chair, "Shadey? In her own Bachelorette Challenge???" I absolutely adore it, it is completely hilarious and WOAH the contestants!! I really do not know what to say. Thankyouthankyouthankyou for giving Shadey a chance strut her stuff. Aww I really wanted to say something about feeling violated boynd belief and things like that, but the truth is I feel so ecstatic right now that I can only tell the absolute truth. It'll pass, I'm sure.

I don't know where to begin...

Adore the dress at the beginning, are you able to tell me where it's from?
Adore the house, Bitsy is an amazing builder. I've got to have that too.

The contestants: They certainly are a varied bunch. You know I love Epoch Satyr, and I think it goes without saying that Captain Jack is always welcome in my quarters as is Jake - I really do adore him too (after he's had a shower that is).
Voldemort did try to get to know me,

Lord V lurks in the background the entire time, he's trying to get a 'Chat' in, poor guy, just a bit too slow

but I am not all that sorry I won't get to see his parseltongue :p
Now, Worf the Klingon... err.. I think I'll let Shadey decide how she feels about that one.
And who can resist the Gagameister? He is a sim that knows a thing or two about pixelated pleasure, but baby, only with the lights off.
Lastly you have included God -I mean Will Wright; that supreme being that have blessed us all with his creation, given us all a reason to live (OK I'm spreading it a bit thick, but no harm eh?), I just hope Shadey will be good to him.

Of course I would accept an "Admire" from Will! Who wouldn't?

Oh, I must quote some of my favorites;

I guess a faun eating turkey and mashed potatoes with a pirate and a Klingon could be considered mildly amusing...

Captain Jack: "Is Jake in this stall? Smells like Jake."

Oh and that skiing conversation at the breakfast table, loved it!

Gage: "Must purge mind of wet, showering goat-man! Resist! Focus on female, get it together man..."

Lord V: "It's okay, muggles aren't really my thing anyways...I prefer little boys with round gla--"

That last slide is absolutely priceless! I want to print that one out, it's the sort of picture that makes everything worthwhile.

I really cannot wait till the next chapter, REALLY! I'm going to be checking this thread every 10 minutes. So, no pressure.

Yes, the boys are quite varied aren't they! I've had the lot of them picked out, downloaded and sitting patiently in my family bin for quite some time while I hunted for the right bachelorette...it's a shame Voldy had to go so soon, he was neat! Ah well.
As much as I like my 'dud' contestants, I'm still hoping she'll end up with one of the hottie ones...though Gage has a commanding lead, much to my chagrin. Oh, well, it's early yet!

I really loved the way you introduced the bachelorette and each of the contestants in the style of a personals ad, a'la the mirror in Shrek. (why didn't I think of that, darn it?!) Who knew that Worf enjoys "getting his phaser off" *snicker* and Lord Voldemort is into fondue parties *guffaw*

I cannot believe you had a fire and multiple aspiration failures on the first day of a Bachelorette challenge, for pete's sake! You'd think this was an Asylum challenge or something. And now I want to see you do an Asylum; half the patients would probably be killed on the first day.

For some reason, my favorite line that I can't stop chuckling over?

Shadey: "Skiing!"
Epoch: "Gives me heartburn."

It's funny you should mention the mirror scenes in Shrek, that whole bit with pina coladas was dancing in my head when I was doing up the introductions. The fire was a big surprise *angryface*...you'll notice in the Elimination of Episode Two I purposely did not light the fire *another angryface*

I'm definitely interested in trying an Asylum Challenge, maybe when I get my legacy to gen 6 or 7...by then I'm sure I'll need the break anyways, hah.

I haven't read episode two yet but episode one? HAHAHAHA!! Seriously cracked me up. The situation is pretty funny on its own but the way you wrote it is priceless.

I'm sort of sad that Voldie went right away but I imagine I'd feel bad for Miss Shadey if he'd won. That would be more than a little weird. It's also probably weird that I'm cheerleading for Worf. The skiing subject is still popular, it's absolutely hilarious the way everyone keeps talking about it. Jake and his flour baby are precious, they completely stole the show when Shadey was chatting with Gage.

I can't believe Shadey is such a smooth talker; they all accepted her Charm?!

For some reason this totally cracked me up:

I have to say, Worf has grown on me...at first he was meant to be a 'dud', over the past couple sim days I've developed a fondness for him! If he doesn't win, I'll have to throw him a hot spare or SimSelf and have some Klingon babies, or something.

I have a feeling that the sims disappear only after the cab starts to move forward, I'm not sure yet, I'm going to check today after the next Elimination, grrr, disappearing sims ruining my pictures.

First of all, congratulations for not burning anyone to a crisp. Ought to be given recognition for that, I think. Aww, sadness that Worf left! Stubborn Klingon not accepting flirts. My next favorite is Will, so go Will! Why? I don't know. Jake cracks me up too. Epoch scares me just a little bit but it's probably for the same reason I wouldn't want much to do with Gage.

All of the conversation bubble comments are really funny to me. It's all of the back and forth with the short no-frills comments only you do write them having some actual conversation/dialogue... so I think it must be the combination that makes me giggle so much. I think It fits well with the nature of the challenge.

To tell you the truth I'm not too sad that Worf had to go *gets pelted with rotten fruit* He would have passed on awful genetics, and as you can see, Shadey is clearly hoping for some long-term commitment and a patter of little feet when this challenge is over.
