I've revised the list of rules I'm using to broaden the trait spectrum in the Legacy Garden, and potentially give myself more wiggle room.

Spoiler:

- Only green-skinned females can inherit.
- The official family trait is Vegetarian, and will be selected as the final trait for each legacy child.
- All other trait slots must be rolled randomly.
- No one is allowed to hire any service sims; emergency sims are allowed.
- No heiress may choose a career driven LTW
- Bad Seeds (totally ripped off from the OWBC's Bad Apple): any child born to an heiress with one or more of the following traits: computer whiz, hates the outdoors, hydrophobic, workaholic (female only), couch potato (male only)
The female Bad Seed must choose a career driven LTW, or Professional Author
The male Bad Seed cannot choose a career driven LTW
Can be selected anytime from birth through to teen years
The Bad Seed cannot be given any commands until they reach adulthood
Another playable sim may add food to their inventory
No one may do their homework
- Kitchen appliances and electronic equipment are forbidden on the legacy lot (with the exception of a clothes washer)
- The family has to eat food grown in the Legacy Garden, unless they are a guest in someone's home.
- Each Heiress must max out the gardening skill before she dies
- No member of the legacy lot is allowed to drive a car or take a taxi, though getting picked up for work by the car pool/school bus is acceptable
- No other sim is allowed to move on to the legacy lot without first being a friend of the current Matriarch
- Once moved out, no member of the legacy family may ever move back in (an exception may be made under extreme circumstances where the continuation of the legacy line is at stake)
- No food may be consumed during pregnancy that will influence the gender of the baby
- All babies must be born on the lot; not at the hospital

**Craxy reserves the right to be omnipotent and break any rules that become too annoying! Mwahahas!

Interesting personal philosophies Persephone has, I'm wondering what the others are. The limited knowledge I have of the sims3 (so far) doesn't allow me to guess.

We suppose that if a greenhouse got romantic with a tree fort you'd get something of the sort.

Hm, why are so many of the sims she meets so against talking about vistas? It doesn't make sense in a game where the vista is one of the big sellers. Unappreciative beings I say.

LOL at the unfortunate end to the meeting with Mr. Christopher Steel. Are you quite sure you want Persephone to get further acquainted with him? I'm guessing he might have slack genes.

They are rather unappreciative aren't they? It's the 'enthuse about the outdoors' topic, apparently there's a lot of sim-folk who just don't care for the outdoors!

I think Persephone is going to keep her options open for a bit as far as the men are concerned, unless she meets 'Mr. Omgswoon' of course.

As for her personal philosophies, I intend to post a technical list of them eventually (because they're all still just in my head at this point), I've over ambitiously decided on a lot of restrictions for myself in this project.

We'll see how it goes, I'm glad you think it's okay so far!

I also think your main character looks like the green alien lady from the old Star Trek show. She's one of the more iconic images from Star Trek and was extremely sexy to all of the 60s fanboys. Anyway, that's a compliment

Hey Craxy! Fun stuff! At the moment I have no idea what your special "rules" are because I opened the spoiler in your first post, let out a little "EEP!" of fright at the length, and quickly closed it again.

I'm completely unfamiliar with LJ, but I rather like how you seemed to have more options for laying out your pictures and text. Reads more like a graphic novel. Are you liking it better than the exchange? Is it hard to get used to?
