UPDATE: Chapter 2.2 is out! Click the link below, and thanks for reading!
Sunflower Dreams is the unwitting founder of a legacy of musically-inclined Sims in Sunset Valley. While she was drawn to the valley initially by her wanderlust nature, a strange feeling about the town encouraged her to stay and do the unthinkable - settle down and start a family. This strange feeling seems to only affect the Dreams, and will affect every aspect of the 9 generations that follow Sunflower.

Thanks! I made some good progress tonight on it - another reason for posting the thread early is to get my butt in gear!

Just added the first chapter. Took me a little longer than I liked, but I hope it turned out well as a result. Excited to be back into "Legacy mode" again!

I thought it was a good start. Your style of writing is very personality driven and Sunflower is definitely a unique character. The only issue I had was that I found it very LONG. 90 slides isn't so much, so there was also a lot of text and it took quite a while to read through the entire chapter.
That aside, I'll be waiting for the next chapter! And you did excellent work with the cover page

Thanks, Lotus! I agree, it did end up a bit long, and I definitely appreciate your feedback!

Wow. I LOVED it. I usually don't go for heavily plot based legacies, but this one swept me within the first few slides. What a gifted writer you are. You've really allowed the readers to get to know Sunflower without the story being draggy. Keep it up!

Thanks cologneprince!
I've been saying it for ages, but I am writing the last 10 or so slides to the next chapter. New Year's Resolution: take notes while playing so the writing process consists less of me staring at a picture, trying to remember why I took it, and more moving the story forward.

It's finally happened, y'all! Part 2 is posted and (finally) ready for reading (phew!).
Check it out:
It's All HappeningUPDATE: Sign-in is no longer required at Google Docs to view the slideshow. Seems I forgot to change that when I initially linked it.

Yeah, I noticed I'm still getting email requests from people trying to view. I updated the link again, if it still doesn't work, I'll publish somewhere else so we can get it to work.
I'm so sorry this is becoming a hassle!

OK, I figured out what it was that was causing the trouble. The link has DEFINITELY been fixed now, and I've made note of it for the future. I'm so sorry to everyone that tried to look at it and got errors - for some reason Google Docs was giving me the "edit" link to copy when I wanted the "view" link. You don't need to log in to view, but you do need to in order to edit, which is why you were getting the login screen.
Again, I am so sorry!

Thanks Archimedes and bballdiva! I'm so glad you both like it
I'm anxious for the next generation as well. Part 3 seems to have been a sort of turning point for me in the story process - probably because I did a lot of planning ahead while I was writing it. All I can say is I have some ideas that I can't wait to put into the story upcoming!

Read the first two stories, but need to finish the last one later (have to clean for partner's family coming over *siiiigh* lol); however, I loved it! very well written, and the best legacy I've read in a long long time.

Keep it up!

Can't wait to finish the next story.
