The Yax Uglacy: Chapter Three 7/02/09

I wanted to try my hand at intentionally making ugly Sims; and I'm all about sharing what my eyballs have to see. I'm giving like that This is more or less to blow some steam and have a small distraction away from my main legacy story. Rest assured, I am not giving the Devereaux family up.

I'm going for purely observational, without any intention of getting plotty. This is merely a experiment to see just how ugly I can make them.

I am using the following handicaps:

I've only read Chapter One so far, but I love it! I'm so smilingly happy to see you writing something else, and something so different! Ubert is a name that had me chuckling from the start, and the whole idea of him as a nerdy weirdo was amazing.

His Malcolm-wife does look surprisingly pretty, those genetics are definitely muted on women. So I greatly look forward to reading the latest chapter, and commenting properly!
But I love how you have your plotty legacy, and your straight, to-the-point funny legacy. It's the best of both peasant worlds!

The Yax family is my escape from having to write the plotty stuff, so it is a steam blower for me. I ought to get back to the Devereaux family, but I really want to get Igor/Bruce C. married off and breed more ugly kids. Decisions, decisions

As for converted Townies, no, I did not clone any of them; frankly because some of them are too good looking in female form, especially Goopy (*gasp* it's TRUE!). As it's a patriarchy, I need ugly girls. I cloned Malcom Landgraab, Frances J. Worthington, Loki Beaker, Chester Gieke, Nervous Subject, and Vicund Pascal (who also was disappointingly good looking as a girl). I already know who Bruce C. is going to marry, bwahahahaha!

Best of all, Billy Bedwetter is going into Aspiration Failure, along with Buffy and Gary G., because I don't care about them; so they are rotting away at college, just like they will in the Sim Bin Stupid cute sims in an Uglacy! The nerve!

That was really very good. I loved your founder, RPG nerds haha (: oh well I have siblings who are RPG nerds. The wife was very pretty, even if Malcolm isn't. And her kids were adorable. I feel like Bruce (the heir) is a bit spock-like, what with the eyebrows. But hey he is defintely ugly. Have fun I'll try to read the next update, can't make any gaurentees though.

Actually, I think Billy Bedwetter's really fun, I've had toddlers like that and they're annoying. On the other hand, I feel real bad about poor Bruce, he was the offspring of a non-bad looking sim and Malcomette, IMO, Carmen Patch can't work out such ugly kids, I really hope Bruce does good as heir!

Billy Bedwetter is annoying, IMO, with his constant whining for me to fulfill his needs and stuff. I played forward a bit and Bruce and his new wife have a bunch of kids who kind of look the same, and dare I say, not that hideous. Except for the girl, who is the ugliest. Unfortunately, girls can't inherit /sigh. Ah, lowered expectations at its finest, because I would be awfully upset if any of my other legacy's kids looked like them.

I have them same issues with genetics. When I want normal I get squiffy, when I try for ugly I get normal. Bruce really shows a lot of Malcome's face structure and generation three should be very interesting.

I would never have thought to gender reverse some of the uglier Maxis townies. Very clever idea. I'm with Candi- I want to see a female Komi.

Actually, I believe that female Komei is not that ugly, but might still pass on the jaw to males, female Komei looks less brutal, at least that's what CAS says, I just do the Komei face and change the sim to woman, and you'd be amazed at how different that is.

billy and gary are the cutest little elves. they immediately make me think of legolas... in candy land. bruce... my my, he kinda resembles spock. there's potential there.

I just might have to extract Komei and make him into a girl. I had totally forgotten that all the Pleasantview Townies come only with Pleasantview and Custom Neighborhoods. So, I'll have to extract Melissa Fancey and Sandy Bruty if I want them in this Uglacy.

I have never watched the show, but one of my friends is obsessed with pirates, so the song ended up playing on the stereo at a party where I heard it. I totally downloaded it and sing along to it...when my husband isn't home

Billy and Gary are dead to me. They aren't really dead, but not only did they refuse to be ugly, they ALSO refused to happily commit suicide via cowplant. Jerks. Bruce does have potential, as does Fran. I've been sitting on an update for a while for this as I wanted to focus on my other legacy. When that next chapter is done, I'll be able to get this next one out

I'll tell you, I clicked on this thread because the name Yax sounded funny. (and reminded me of the song Yakkity Sax for some reason) It's still funny, so I read all 3 chapters and one go and already love it! Probably because I get all of the geeky references cuz I am a geek myself, and also spend way too much time on the Internet. You pick up on a lot of odd stuff real quick that way. Ubert (or should I say Mr. Puppypunter) is awesome, and I am looking forward to more, should I say, "facially challenged" simlets in gen 3. Let's just be glad no one was visited by Chris Hansen, and keep it that way.
